Our client is a well-established fiduciary based in Charleroi. Their small, close-knit team enables staff to work with a wide variety of clients. These clients are located throughout Belgium and operate in dynamic, high-value-added sectors (such as law firms, architectural practices, consultancy firms, etc.). As part of its ongoing growth, the firm is looking to recruit an experienced accountant capable of managing a portfolio independently.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Independent management of a portfolio of accounting files from start to finish
- Entry of accounting documents and monitoring of transactions
- Review of accounts and preparation of periodic financial statements
- Preparing and monitoring tax returns
- Liaising directly with clients and assisting them with their accounting and tax queries
- Comprehensive monitoring of cases and coordination with the team where necessary
PROFILE
- You hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or have equivalent experience
- You have at least 3–5 years’ experience in accounting management
- You enjoy working in a fully digital environment and are therefore very comfortable using digital tools
- You have a high level of proficiency in spoken and written French (C2)
- You are able to work independently
- You have excellent communication skills and adopt a professional and proactive approach when dealing with clients
- You have a good knowledge of one or more accounting software packages such as Winbooks, Kluwer and Twintaxx
- You are organised, meticulous and able to manage several cases simultaneously
- You are capable of acting as an advisor to your clients
